The Phoenix has interviewed one secret teacher and we are asking the students of NCHS to attempt to guess this mystery teacher

How tall are you? I am 5’2″ on a bad day and 5’3″ on a good day.
Where were you born? New Castle, Indiana
What college did you graduate from? I went to IU East, Ivy Tech, and IWU
What do you like to do with your free time? In my free time I like reading, spending time with my family, playing video games with my [family]..
What is your favorite place to go to and why? I love going to TN. I have gone there since my childhood days, and I love that I now am making memories with my own little family there as well.
Did you play any sports in your youth?I played softball in grades 3-6 and basketball in grades 5-7. I cheered in grades 8 and 9 and bowled from ages 7-11.
What is one interesting fact about you? I have had three last names in my life, and none of them have been due to divorce.
What other schools did you teach at before moving to New Castle?I taught at Agape during my college years.
What is your favorite part about teaching at NCHS? I love the interactions with my students. I love seeing the reaction of a student when she (or he) finally gets a concept we’ve been working on. I love knowing I am making a difference in lives that can, in turn, make a difference in the lives of others.
Do you have any pets? Not currently, but I’ve owned many down through the years.
What three words would you use to describe yourself? I think three words that describe me well are kind, understanding, and spirited.
